Module DRL2: is a DMX 512 relay driver panel. The DRL2 will control 2 or 4 coil or solid state (SSR) relays. The relays (contact closure or SSR) could control: switch/trigger equipment, switch florescent lights, or water fountain solenoids, for example. The SSR's could also be used for fast switching or PWM. The Start Channel can be assigned to any of the 512 DMX channels by dip switches 1 ~ 9, DMX512 CHANNEL ASSIGNMENT TABLE [PDF]. One of the four relays can be preselected to activate in the event that no DMX is present. The DRL2 module uses the DPM4-PCB control board and the DPM-RL-Coil-PCB or DPM-RL-SSR-PCB relay board.

This module is part of the DMX Modular System and requires a modular chassis or enclosure, and a PS-IO2, PS-IO2x power module or a 5V power supply. A companion DAC I-O module is needed to provide relay input power and relay outputs. And a DMX data input from either a PS-IO2x or DX6 module or equivalent.
