The DMX10V is a DMX to 10 Volt Converter,
and can be used as a switch that could drive Solid State Relay's. Each output is assigned
to a consecutive DMX channel and will vary from 0
to 10V in respect to the corresponding DMX channels' level.
Usage examples include: trigger/control devices up to 10V,
rapid switch equipment or lights, or control water fountain
solenoids or SSR's (Solid State Relays). The Start Channel is assigned by dip switches 1 ~ 9,
DMX512 CHANNEL ASSIGNMENT TABLE
[PDF].
For example if the DMX start channel is assigned to 10, and
the level on channel 10 is 127, then the 1st output will be
+5 volts, level of 0 = 0 volts, and a level of 255 = 10 volts etc.). Each output will
source 20mA. The variable output can drive 10V dimmers
(insure your dimmers operate within these specifications,
overdriving may cause failure).
The DMX10V is also equipped with a Switch
output mode, at a specific threshold the outputs will either
switch fully ON or OFF. Great for controlling Solid State
Relays (SSR).
*Add a 4 Ch Sub PCB to an existing 4, 8, or 12 channel PCB.
**The alternate back mounting option allows the PCB to be mounted in an enclosure with DIP
Switch and LED's accessible externally of the enclosure. For installations that need top
(or internal) DIP Switch and LED accessibility then these items can be mounted on the top of the PCB.
